US slaps sanctions on Russian individuals, companies
WASHINGTON, Jan 26 (PRIME) -- Washington has imposed new sanctions on Russian individuals and companies, including Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov, the U.S. Department of the Treasury said.
Besides Manturov, the list of sanctioned individuals comprises republic of Tatarstan’s head Rustem Minnikhanov and his wife Gulsina.
The U.S. also imposed sanctions on private military company Wagner and many companies connected with supporting the Wagner Group, including Terra Tech, Sewa Security Services, U.S. company Bebidas USA Inc., Chinese company Changsha Tianyi Space Science and Technology Research Institute Co. Ltd, and others.
Washington also slapped sanctions on four companies affiliated with holding company Interros of Russian tycoon Vladimir Potanin – Interros Invest, Interros Capital, and Cyprus-based investment company Whiteleave Holdings limited and its affiliate Saltcliff Trading Limited.
